"Roots & Wings" is a powerful concept that I truly connected with during my time living in Africa. My grandfather and great-grandfather spent generations on a small farm in East Texas, surrounded by majestic pecan trees. I cherish the memories of walking with my family around those trees, searching for the best pecans to enjoy.

As I grew older and my travels extended beyond East Texas, a deep longing to explore the world emerged. I wanted to experience diverse landscapes, connect with people from different cultures, and discover my place in this world. As I spread my wings, I embraced the person I was becoming, and the more I saw of the world, the more I wanted to discover.

However, the further I ventured from my nest, the more I reflected on the roots of that pecan tree, which became a profound symbol of my journey. I became increasingly grateful for the depth, width, and strength of my roots.
